As development gets underway, the first footage and the title of Godzilla x Kong 3 have been made public. With Grant Sputore directing and David Callaham writing the screenplay, a direct sequel to Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire was announced after the film’s financial success. The film will feature a number of new human characters as the two titular giants “face off against a cataclysmic world-ending threat.” Alongside franchise newbies Kaitlyn Dever, Jack O’Connell, Matthew Modine, Delroy Lindo, Alycia Debnam-Carey, and Sam Neill, Dan Stevens returns to his role as Trapper in the Godzilla x Kong sequel.
