After multiple delays, Sekhar Kammula’s pan-Indian film Kuberaa is finally scheduled to open in theaters in the second part of June 2025. After a four-year hiatus, the director of Happy Days returns with a project.
After considerable delay, Fidaa director Sekhar Kammula’s next movie, Kuberaa, which stars Jim Sarbh, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhanush, and Nagarjuna in the key roles, is scheduled to open on June 20. Originally, the movie was supposed to hit theaters in December 2024. After four years away, director Sekhar Kammula will be making a comeback to the film industry.
On November 15, 2024, the film’s first teaser was released by the producers. The preview provides an engrossing look at Dhanush, Rashmika, Nagarjuna, and Jim, the main protagonists of the movie. By concentrating on character introductions and emotional nuance without giving away too much about the movie, Sekhar preserved the feeling of wonder.Touted as a socio-drama, Kuberaa delves into topics of power dynamics, ambition, and morality. Concurrently shot in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, the movie will be released throughout India, including dubbed versions in Kannada and Malayalam. Under the auspices of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao co-produce it.
