Actress Rukmini Vasanth, who started her career with the film Birbal and later rose to fame with the film ‘Sapta Sagaradache Ello‘ starring Rakshit Shetty, is now busy with many films. She has worked in various languages including Kannada and Tamil and has become a sought-after actress. She was recently seen in the Tamil film ‘Ace’ with Vijay Sethupathi.
He has also acted in the much-awaited Kantara; Chapter 1, directed and starring Rishab Shetty, produced by Hombale Films and to be released in multiple languages. He is also acting in the film with Sivakarthikeyan and will be seen opposite famous Telugu actor Junior NTR in Prashanth Neel’s next film.
However, the latest news is that Rukmini Vasanth will also be seen in one of the most anticipated films, Yash starrer ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups’. Directed by Geethu Mohandas, the film has already generated a lot of curiosity. Actresses like Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria have already joined the cast, and now Rukmini Vasanth will be joining the cast as the Kannada heroine.
While more details about Toxic are being kept under wraps, sources confirm that Rukmini has already completed a couple of schedules for the project. An official announcement is awaited.
Jointly produced by Venkat Narayan’s KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the film is being made on a huge budget. It has been shot in both English and Kannada and is expected to be released in multiple languages. Toxic has cinematography by Rajeev Rai. It will be released in theatres worldwide on March 19 next year.
