As a rookie police officer, Soori led Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai Part 1 into a dramatic period drama. A young police officer assigned to a hilly location where there is more than just tension between the public and the police is at the center of the story. Vijay Sethupathi made a cameo appearance and played Perumal in the first portion. The second half trailer, which has always been Perumal’s show, is now available.
Perumal, played by Vijay Sethupathi, is depicted in the latest teaser along with his story and decision to rebel against caste and class prejudice. Where the first portion concluded, the second section begins.
There are graphic, violent, and horrific scenes in the Viduthalai 2 trailer.
Manju Warrier, who portrays Perumal’s romantic interest and an activist, is also introduced in the trailer. With Perumal’s persona in the forefront, it appears that Vetrimaaran is bringing on yet another heartbreaking tale.
In addition to Soori reprising his character from the first film, the sequel also features the return of Gautam Menon, Rajiv Menon, and Chetan. On December 20, 2024, Viduthalai: Part 2 will be released in theaters.
