Mission Impossible 8’s title and teaser trailer have been made public.
Mission Impossible — The Final Reckoning is the title that Cruise and Paramount announced on Instagram Monday morning.
“Every decision has resulted in this,” Cruise wrote as the caption for the Instagram photo, which also included the movie’s poster.
Additionally, the company unveiled a teaser trailer that previews the upcoming film, which is scheduled to open in theaters on May 23, 2025, while also taking a look back at the franchise.
The eighth movie in the franchise, which is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, has Cruise reprising his role as Ethan Hunt. Other cast members include Henry Czerny, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, and Vanessa Kirby.
Hannah Waddingham, Nick Offerman, Katy O’Brian, and Tramell Tillman are also in the movie.
The Paramount and Skydance movie is produced by Cruise and McQuarrie. Executive producers include Chris Brock, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, and David Ellison.
