In the upcoming movie Thug Life, veteran actor Kamal Haasan and celebrated filmmaker Mani Ratnam will work together again after a 37-year separation. On Haasan’s 70th birthday, November 7, 2024, the eagerly awaited teaser for the release date was released, indicating that the movie will be released on June 5, 2025. In photos showing him in battle, Kamal sports a coarse beard; in other shots, a younger, clean-shaven Kamal is shown. Thug Life, which co-stars Silambarasan TR and features a blood-soaked weapon in the teaser, is looking to be an exciting action film.
A formidable production team, comprising Red Giant Movies, Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies, and Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Film International, is behind Thug Life. Trisha, Abhirami, Nasser, Joju George, Ali Fazal, and Aishwarya Lekshmi are among the ensemble cast members who play important parts in the movie. Sreekar Prasad is in charge of editing, Ravi K. Chandran is in charge of cinematography, while AR Rahman is in charge of music.
It is expected to be an action-packed gangster movie and is Haasan and Ratnam’s first joint project since the classic Nayakan.
