What’s Good: Almost everything in this movie came together, including Dulquer Salmaan’s superb acting, the background music, and the early 1990s historical setting.
What’s Bad: The opening song interrupts the flow of the movie and seems superfluous. By now, the people and their lives have been well developed, and the song only restates what we already know, adding little to the story’s significance.

Should I watch? Although this movie comes highly recommended, you decide if it’s worth seeing in a theater. Despite the fact that Baskhar’s siblings may use more development, the script for Lucky Baskhar is incredibly well-written and has distinct characters. Baskhar’s goals are well-established, offering a strong justification for his conduct, even though the conclusion may appear a little implausible and even ridiculous—mostly because it involves an essential procedure that senior management is unaware of.The introduction of Baskhar’s father and his previous occupation lends believability to the plot. Baskhar’s father might not have existed and his wife might have assumed his position if someone had handled this from a “woke” standpoint. Nonetheless, the screenwriter acknowledges the significance of these personalities. Sumathi, Baskhar’s well-developed wife, has little screen time, which helps the movie go along at a steady pace and avoid feeling drawn out. This decision improves the story’s overall coherence. The script avoids bloat or sluggishness and is entertaining and tight.
